I am so sorry to hear about your family's health problems, especially at this time of the year. I have an unfortunate close acquaintanceship with your pain: I lost my wife to lung cancer last Christmas morning after 56 1/2 years of happy marriage. Please know that you are in my prayers.

And doesn't it make KRY seem so much less important. Keep your focus on your loved ones, where it is so very needed.
