My previous post should not be taken as a less positive take on the outcome. To reiterate, when the broker first told me about the investment board and I suggested that it sounds like we're down to the flip of a coin, he rejected that characterization. He replied that all involved are enthusiastic about the deal and he was confident it would go through.
This post was meant for those of us who maintain the valid assumption that the coin toss analogy is the prism through which we should view the decision of the investment board.
By the way, it should be noted that the broker gave credit for the enthusiasm to the presentation by Bob Fung, which he (the broker) attended.
