Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
Facts or Opinions, it's all good. That is what Agoracom's boards are all about.
However, any information posted, no matter the origin or claim, should always be verified with additional DD on the reader's part. Those taking things posted without personal verification are setting themselves up for possible surprise and disappointment.
Did quite a bit of research and extensive DD about CCAA. Seems the CCAA is considered as being akin to the US Chapter 11, but without rules.
The nice thing, for those with continued involvment with this play, is that the facts will be posted on the Monitor's, Ernst & Young, Inc., web site. No more information vacuum.
Unfortunately, currently and for the foreseeable future, it appears that TSX shareholders are now "stuckholders." All those big buys noted on the TSX, now stuckholders. TSX, within minutes of the company PR, immediately suspended trading of KRY shares, and reiterated delisting as scheduled (http://tmx.quotemedia.com/article.php?newsid=47117813&qm_symbol=KRY), which was lost to this board in all of the postings. Some sort of resolution to that must be worked out, because one of the main benefits of being a shareholder, rather than a bondholder/creditor, is liquidity. The "Plan" will likely include the reinstitution of Canadian shareholder rights, but that will take time.
There have been many, many, many red flags brought up about this play by posters here. My posts implied numerous red flags, but tried to be as neutral about them as possible to let readers make their own decisions.
There is a "rule-of-thumb" about PRs. A PR issued anywhere from Sunday noon'ish to Wednesday noon'ish is usually good news. Anytime afterwards to Friday near/after close is typically bad news in an attempt to have it lost in the weekend. The most recent company PR was Friday, near close.
Despite recent posts about the company being concerned about shareholders, there is good reason this most recent company PR was released when it was. And, making a shareholder a "stuckholder" does not seem to exhibit care.
The play is not over. Said it before, the PP is the place to be for a possible sure thing. There is a chance for some value for the common shareholder in the very long term, but there really are too many unknowns to make a realistic appraisal of the possibilities. Opinions of future sp are unrealistic because the Market determines sp. New spec blood with a new attitude and much lower sp expectations are moving in, and have been moving in for a while.
