Vz will have a lot of time to think about their decision as they go cap in hand looking for money to keep their declining oil business operating. Instead of reaping the rewards of high oil prices VZ has had to endure Hugo using the countries wealth as his personal ATM machine. The real losers in all this are the people who live in poverty because Hugo is robbing the country.

Our case will be fine. Perhaps Hugo thinks he can strong arm the ICSID into more favourable decisions because of their withdrawal but in reality it will not work. If anything it confirms that VZ is not playing fairly.
