No. That's not how it works. Too many people watch reality TV court shows and believe thats how it works in the real world . Judges very rarely rule from the bench. April 5 was simply a hearing for both sides to make their arguments. The judge's decision process then requires additional efforts by the judges, who often have their own staff attorneys perform research relative to the arguments presented at the hearing. It's not uncommon for rulings to take weeks, months or in some extreme cases years after a hearing.
