Hey No Bear
Creditors have a fixed claim. Shareholder's are entitled to the value of the company, that value is driven by the BOD and management acting on behalf of the shareholders to maximize that value, given that debt holder and management have a fixed claim and Management very little shares.
Given that shareholder the owner's of the company that's in creditor protection in reality has very little say or power, I don't see where their interests and ours are the same, my take is we are at the mercy of the creditors, Tenor first (if all is approved by courts will be a genius move on their part to get CCAA court approval ) next we have bondholders and management and last us lowly common shareholders will get the crumbs of what's left over.
Just my take, seen over and over again these hedge funds disregards for shareholder, they care only for their own profits and interests nothing more same goes for bondholders and our beloved management, shareholders has no voice, the only shareholder to speak to his and our interests was Mr. Juan Antonio Reyes, that's it and that's all we got so far.
