 07 de noviembre de 2012, 17:18Caracas, Nov 7 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela and South Africa expressed their willingness to continue strengthening bilateral relations during a meeting of authorities from the two countries held in this capital.
According to a press release issued by the Foreign Ministry today, Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources of South Africa, Godfrey Oliphant, expressed his country´s readiness to continue increasing the level of exchanges during a meeting with Venezuelan Deputy Foreign Minister Reinaldo Bolivar.
The talks are part of Oliphant´s state visit to monitor current mining agreements and talks of the First Meeting of High Ranking Officials held here in July.
The visitor said that technical teams already started to work in order to translate diplomatic relations into successful economic links.
The idea is turn diplomatic links into mutual benefits for our nations, and these exchanges indicate that we are increasingly closer to what we want, said Bolivar.
The agenda of the visit also included meetings with officials from the Ministry of Oil and Mining and a visit to the mines of Callao, in the state of Bolivar.
