30 de noviembre de 2012, 10:53Beijing, Nov 30 (Prensa Latina) The governments of Venezuela and China signed on Friday new cooperation economic, financial, energy, mining and oil agreements, in a sustained effort to strengthen a strategic alliance that will protect the development plans of both countries in the current situation of the world.

At the end of three days of talks in Beijing between the delegations participating in the XI Meeting of the China-Venezuela High Level Joint Commission, both parties signed eight agreements for cooperation in the fields of oil, mining and power generation.
Other issues such as funding, bilateral cooperation in agriculture, science, technology, industry, aerospace, trade and economy were also subjected to scrutiny, according to statements to Prensa Latina from a spokesman of the meeting.
The Chinese part in the eleventh edition of this Joint Commission established in 2001, was led by the president of the National Development and Reform Commission Zhang Ping, whereas Venezuela was represented by the Minister of Planning and Development, Jorge Giordani.
In his speech at the closing ceremony in one of the protocol rooms of Diaoyutai State protocol center in Beijing, Minister Giordani stressed that the mechanism of bilateral strategic partnership is based on a solid cooperation, diversified, and governed by solidarity and mutual benefit.
It is expected that the commercial exchange will close the fiscal year 2012 with 23 billion dollars, 47 times higher than the volume registered in 2001.
