This is to be expected, despite his lies and denials, he has an inoperable terminal cancer that spread long ago, and likely his knee problems of several years ago were an initial symptom.

He is dying and in a slow painful manner. I hate to see this in good people, like my step father a few years ago, but for Hugo I don't feel so bad. He is an evil man and has hurt and killed many, sometimes life serves up justice in the end.

Hopefully, his uneducated people that love him will fare better under future leaders that actually care about the welfare of their citizens.
