Unfortunate. They can PR anything that is a fact or belief of the company. Apparently, being an SEC mistake is no longer a CRYFQ fact or belief. The PR/filing information blackout is typical for suspended companies, not just a Crystallex thing. Some do a sugarcoat PR, but most just go dark.
