personally, i kinda like the idea. it forces banks to actually loan out money and do what banks are supposed to do. hell, it's not like money is actually backed by anything other than faith and credit. loan it out. if you build it they will come. if you continue to park money and pay interest to banks out of the taxpayers pocket eventially the taxpayers will want to go to another system.
