jcwillis: Of course I'm part of Tenor in that I'm a shareholder in a little company of their's called Crystallex. Tenor rescued us when it looked like everything was gone (to you / the Bondies), they injected $75.5m into a bankrupt company with nothing but a lawsuit against a country no less. A country that is listed as a national security threat in the US, has the highest rate of inflation and is on the verge of sovereign debt default. Tenor were told it would cost half as much and take half as long to get their money back but nevertheless continued to throw hard cash through 4 rounds of loans with no objections from shareholders. I feel a little sorry for these white knights now being attacked by the very people they saved and against all the odds have kept in the game even though they had no reason to and no legal requirement to. If it weren't for Tenor the judge would have wiped out shareholders a long time ago (and may still do if Tenor don't continue to protect us). Now they are being accused of delaying the recovery of their money when quite obviously any delay brings VZ default closer and the likelihood that they never get paid and have years of legal battles and costs.
The smell of money brings out the worst in people. No doubt more ambulance chasing lawyers will be on this case in due course. I know you / the Bondies won't be launching your lawsuit until the award is paid, you already have lawyers otherwise I'd be happy to offer my services. Your case is far more airtight. I'd do it on a contingency basis...or as we say in court "lingua in maxillam".
