Simple answer is no. In the current circumstance and IF shareholders are to get a better deal then currently on offer Gowling may be the best option. Most likely, imho, Gowling will be bad for shareholders.
I suspect most shareholders (if they are honest) also don't think Gowling is the way to go - a simple test of this is to ask how much you would be prepared to pay upfront. If the answer is zero then opting in was simply a hail mary. You can read about plenty of hail marys that work - mostly because no-one bothers to write about the 99.99% that fail abysmally.
