Once a court suit is filed it has to run out its course. The suit against Citgo is old news and that is just now concluded after many months with crystallex losing. (Thanks USA courts - Vz is gloating). There is still one more lawsuit against PDVSA, the alter ego, of Venezuela pending which also must run its course. Results should come out soon. This may end up defeated too.
But we still have the admission of liability by venezuela to pay $400M in the first 2 yers and $1B some other phantom way.
If we win the case against PDVSA we are in the money right now but the agreement in my paragraph 2 may make the alter ego strategy moot. My assessment.
All of the above is my interpretation of the current events.
