Mr Longrunner:
Thank you for your words. I am a Navy Lifer, 30 years, retired navy Chief. You are right, I am doing OK, no need for a bottle drive for me yet. I originally bought KRY at 1.21, held it as it went up to 6.00 in change...the watched it fall, bought more...my Advisor was all about the permit, kept saying when the permit came in, we would see it go to 14 bucks.. then finally the stock was halted, my guy said this was it, then the news, Chavez was taking it over... no permit, the stock tumbled... my guy said it was a bluff, can't happen, then said we would sue and then Ven would pay within 30 days of a judgment...wrong, wrong and wrong again. When I finally wised up it was to late, then I started to add up all the commissions on the other losers...it finally donned on my that I wasn't investing all these years, I was gambling and this guy was my bookie...... yes, I have my CPP, and will get OAP at 65, but they will claw back my military pension when I do so it really is a neutral benefit. Crystallex was a major part of my retirement planning, ridiculous to think that now... I am working as a security guard now and sailing instructor for the Navy as a civilian. I live in one of the best cities in the best country in the world, so I should be happy. I am a guy who is used to success, I led men, went to sea, deployed all over the word, I don't take failure well. I keep thinking of the book "where are the customers yachts? of course there aren't any, the advisors and the bankers have the yachts, the customers are just strung along...I have written it off or at least tried to.
Thanks again and to others on this board...
John
