Conoco CEO: “I’ll count the money when it shows up in the bank,”

Good advice when dealing with Venezuela.

The Monitor's last report indicates that Vzla has tried several times but has not been able to wire the money. The government teansfers billions of dollars a month in payments abroad to pay for food, meds, chemicals, imported gas (yes, their refineries cannot operate properly for lack of mainatenance).

So, they can get the money out, but only when they must.
