I find the analogy to the Titanic fascinating and epiphanic. Here is why…

The Titanic SS was designed and built to be unsinkable using the most advanced materials and engineering of the date. The steel used was the strongest that money could buy. All its compartments were watertight and had remotely operated, electronic watertight doors. The builder and the owner were so sure that it would not sink that it only had lifeboats for half of its 2,200 passengers and crew members it could carry.

Yet, the wrought-iron rivets used to hold the steel hull were not strong enough to withstand the impact from the iceberg that hit the length of four compartments. The water flooded the “watertight” compartments and could not be pumped out (why spend money on pumps on an unsinkable ship?). The flooding water listed the ship and the uneven distribution of the weight abord cause the ship to sink in less than three hours and caused 1,700 people to lose their lives.

The Tenor-KRY SS was designed to be unsinkable, too. Built with the best laid out plans and a “watertight hull” sealed with highly paid and incentivized lawyers, foreign agents, a hand-in-glove trustee, a Mickey Mouse bankruptcy law (which Parliament slowly but surely started correcting in 2019), and confidentiality orders. But, alas, it was also built with faulty rivets that cannot withstand much pressure upon a direct hit.

The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.
