Sherm,

The statement by President Trump in my previous post says the contrary: The U.S. will support President Guido and his government to recover its democarcy and economy and has already allowed Guido access to Venezuelan funds at the Federal Reserve and other financial institutions.
Maduro will never be allowed to put his hands of the frozen funds because he will use these to perpetuate his government in power.
