Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
Given what you have suggested it would be 10 years at 3.68% and 5 years at 6% as per the settlement agreement.
I don't believe it works that way however. I believe the 6 month LIBOR average is done each year seperately. I will show how I arrived at close to 2 Billion. This doesn't account for the money VZ already paid Kry on the failed settlement which around $120 million from memory. If anyone remembers the exact number I will adjust.
The chart shows the 6 month average for each year, plus the 1%. It changes to 6% in 2018 and assumes payment by the end of 2023. It doesn't take into account the start date in 2008 being april rather than January but for a rough calculation I'm sticking with this. Feel free to disagree constructively and post what you believe to be the amount
