FWIW, gentlemen (and OG) I had to quit my Honda 750 Nighthawk when I hit 80, and that was ten years ago.  So I "bought" another one, "bolted" the two together, and came up with a Mazda Miata.  It has served nicely as a safe successor to the crotch rocket, and also as a comforting diversion while awaiting the KRY settlement.  Looks like it might arrive soon.  I'll have to beg off the celebration in Tahiti, though, but will be there in spirit.

Must say the discussion here has been warm and gratifying.  Decent people (and lord knows patient) still roam the countryside.  And many thanks for the conscientious colleagues who tracked the progress and kept the rest of us informed.
