In his place, I would be tickled pink to have my family benefit from the investment and the long and tourtous wait involved. Alternatively, the unclaimed money would end up being spent to clean up Fung's and the DIP lender's mess or in the government's coffers.

I have recommended to everybody I know that invested in KRY to let their significant others know about it and, just in case, to include it in a will to avoid probate and taxes. I, for one, am not getting any younger, and have a wife, children and close relatives I would rather leave money to enjoy a confortable retirement, buy a house, pay for the grandchildren's education, etc.
