Fun film fact - OFOCN was produced by 29 y.o. Michael Douglas who was gifted the film rights from his Dad, who expected Michael to cast him in the lead that he played on Broadway. Michael knew that Dad was too old by then. Kirk was very unhappy with the snub even after the film earned multiple Oscars.
