Reading into the statement of demands from the International community,which if successful in getting rid of Mudero,  then in post-Mudero, Venezuela needs Citgo for any chance of its recovery. Everybody knows that. The US wants a friendly nation down there and with a change in government it will be. The money to satisfy creditors then has to come from somewhere else. Maybe IMF. The US Treasury has the last word and that is an unknown.(How many renewals since this started? Lots.)  The Treasury have to think about the International impact of the Citgo sale. So far, it's been an obstacle to us. This will take a long time, I think, especially now with the election challenge. There is no doubt though that the debt will go not away and will be paid eventually sometime, somehow??
