This is meant as an informational & common sense disagreement with your post.  I also voted for Perot as 20% of voters who wanted a more conservative(both socially & fiscally) - "get the rascals out" focus. It hurt GHW and what did we get? The biggest rascal and nogoodnik of all time. It's because of Bozo Bill that the Al Quida threat exists today. He put his head in the sand because it would be tooo inconvenient and negative on his Presidency to take strong, harsh action against those that have IT their mission on earth to kill the Western world & take over the world. Clinton ignored the opportunity to train and/or eliminate the puppy and now we and the world are dealing with a junkyard dog. Vote for the strongest candidate on national defense and none are Dems or Indi's. They all want to pretend these 7th century brutes can be negotiated with. Yes we can negotiate with them if we drink Jim Jones coolaid - and that's the only way they wil be happy. They need to be eliminated for generations. Remember the Crusades? Here we are again! You're right about Carter with no political juice, but he would not have changed anything as evidenced by the 444 days of the captive American embassy people(Iran) and his anti America rants along with his buddies Chavez & Castro. Biliary, Yomama and pretty hair boy would be worse than Carter and no political juice with the Republicans fighting them.  As a trader, what do you think will happen to TAXES if a Dem gets in? Take a look at CA and most of the Northeast - the highest state taxes in the country and those states are BLUE.GW has been a fiscal flop, but he is fighting WWIII outside the US and not in major US cities. The only chance of curbing spending, keep taxes the same AND continuing to fight  the Muslim extremists is a on the Elephants side.  Use common sense.
