You are right. Even when you pay with a debit card, the choice you make between debit and credit makes a difference to Visa.
I think I may have misled everyone in my previous statements. The fee they recieve will be slowing down. With the problems in the Credit Industry as a whole, the issuance of Credit will be tougher to get, hence, even credit cards. The mortgage industry and the forclosures started this mess. At one point, you could pay off your credit cards with a equity loan. Most people didn't learn, and use that same card again incurring fees. Now they are maxed out, and can't get that loan again because of what has happened. If no loan, no fees for the Credit Cards, and then the slowdown. I hope I make sense, or did I make it worse?
