JC...imo....the $2.00\share buyout price left a sour taste in everyones's mouth. The FED\Goldman did whatever it had to do to get the "deal "done" before the Asian markets opened on Sunday. After the dust settled...the fear became one of litigation. That wouldn't sit well either given the tenuous nature of the banking system at this juncture. Confidence is the name of the game. Everyone is happy....for now.
