I didn't know that he went to Rusuro from Gold Reserve. Looks like the merger debacle with Gold Reserve cost him.

Rusoro Mining Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: RML) is pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr. Corey Allen to the position of Chief Operating Officer
effective immediately. Mr. Allen brings many years of operational
expertise in the mining industry to the Company's executive management

Mr. Allen has previously held several senior management positions in the
industry, most recently as Mill and Metallurgical Operations Manager
overseeing the engineering and project development for a world class
copper-gold porphyry deposit in Ecuador. He also brings direct experience
in Venezuela as he was formerly the Project and Production Manager for
Gold Reserve Corp. in the country. Mr. Allen is fluent in Spanish and has
over 25 years of experience directing mine and metallurgical operations
on several major development projects in North America, Mexico and
central and South America.
