they're trying to explain why west texas intermediate is selling below other oil benchmarks...like the ven basket.....

also, it goes into gold swaps capping the price of gold....

personally i think the article could be shorter if they just said "they're f'ing you, get over it!" that would pretty much some up the whole thing....
