Speaking of penny stocks, CJR and I have been discussing a European solar stock trading at .02. The companies name is Girasolar GRSR.pk. They were fully reporting as of their last 10k for 2006 with revenues that year of $56M. They are based out of Deventer, Netherlands. Last pr from them in 2008 was a supply contract for $10.3M. They are currently in 10 countries. There is lots more to this whole story for whoever wants it.

They have 3 patents. 2 patents are already in production and making sales. Their biggest patent is a new silicon production process that could lead to a significant cost reduction in the production of solar grade and possibly higher grades or silicon. This is a big deal in the solar world.

The stock has sat quiet for some time as the Deventer CEO was in negotiations with the US CEO (getting rid of him). Rumors have it that all earnings for the past few years will be coming out this fall with the possibility of an OCTBB listing. Needless to say when this comes about this stock will wake up and with only 42M outstanding shares will be the next BEHL. By the way this company has been in business since 2003 and has funded their ongoing operation through their own revenue machine.
