has everyone heard about this chinese drywall fiasco?

in SWFla i'm hearing numbers like "50,000 homes affected by chinese drywall"...this is some nasty stuff, some of my real estate and construction industry buddies are saying the houses will have to be leveled as the few houses that have had the drywall replaced are still showing signs of problems....

so far it has'nt been such a big deal because most of the homes were newer and ended up getting foreclosed on anyway, but now that the real estate market is heating up down here again what happens next?

tens of thousands of homes needing a minimum of tens of thousands $$$ of work each... or, they may have to be torn down altogether... there has to be a way to make a buck off this....any ideas?
