Not into the short A List, or the F List. They are long term but definitely not for everyone, although I currently am working on establishing positions.

Shippers are sometimes a leading indicator of the economy and have been in a funk. So, you looking for something to short is dead on.

The shippers I watch are NAT (trending down), DSX (flat, MA50 recently crossed MA200), and DRYS (slight up trend with MA50 and MA200 converging). SBLK has similar technicals as DRYS (as they should), but DRYS has significantly more volume.

On another topic... Houses. You are gonna luv this. Put in a 300k bid (they call them offers, Hah!) on a home two-three months ago and was made a backup. 299k was asking. Recently noticed it back on the market. Saw on Redfin that it had closed at 325k and 30 days later (now being about two weeks ago) was being offered up for 475k. Within four-five days an offer had been accepted and now looking for backup offers. 30 days to flip. Unbelievable. Seems the flippers are taking advantage of the stimulus and doing quite well.
