(601390 CH): The nation’s biggest construction company by assets said first-half profit rose 6.6 percent from a year earlier to 3.3 billion yuan. The company also proposed changing the use of some of its IPO proceeds from 2007. The stock gained 1.4 percent to 4.44 yuan.
