I've never met EZ but will take everyone's word he is a great guy.He sounds like a guy who would be fun to hang out with.

I can't speak for no_bear but I would guess his patience was pushed to the limit. As the leader of this board no_bear must deal with all the people who send messages complaining about what other are posting and saying.

This is what I believe pushed no_bear into action.

When no_bear emailed me about my stance on the situation I agreed with him to contact EZ one more time to ask/warn him about his conduct. He was banned shortly after wards.

I had a couple private messages from posters who support EZ and wanted him back if possible. In those messages EZ's good qualities were mentioned and as well as his bad side. Not one message I received condoned EZ for his name calling and abusive tone.

I used the term bully when describing his behavior. Since I don't know EZ personally I don't know if he is like this in real life or just because it is a message board. EZ Back on Oct. 10th I posted "Hitching our wagon to the Chinese was a great move even if it cost us 2/3rd of the project."

I was asked by Gilly if this was the true figure and EZ jumped in to our conversation. Part of his post said "Only the negative minded dwell on the 2/3 part of the deal. "How he could take my statement and say it I was negative minded is beyond me.

I'm a big supporter of anti-bullying. I've been very lucky in life and have never been bullied but I have seen it when I was young and did nothing to stop it. After high school I have always made a point to step up to support those who I feel are being bullied.

I have been sending private messages to some of the posters I felt EZ was bullying over the last year or two. I have mistakenly tried to explain his behavior as just being EZ like some of you have. Acceptance of this behavior is the same as doing it ourselves.

I was glad no_bear contacted me and continue to support his actions to take control of the board. As CJR said earlier he could have been banned as well as many other if the rules were applied to the letter of the law. You have to start somewhere.

I would like to see EZ come back to the fold but only if he can refrain from being argumentative and abusive to others who don't agree with him. I have always enjoyed EZ's posts when he plays nice.
