Using labels of "card-carrying member of the NRA" and "parroting" seems a bit much.

Should a terrorist/criminal be a threat, being able to defend oneself with whatever increases survivability is the universal choice, including semi-autos with a military "look." This needs no Second Amendment and is without parroting or being an NRA member.
