Red Lake Drill hole BR09-02 is at 2211 metres this morning.
Azimuth is 88.1 degrees. Dip is 72.9 degrees.
Progress has been slowed by gyro reading and drilling the casing (collar) deeper into the bedrock.
This is common as the hole gets deeper, the rock that the casing is anchored in wears and comes loose and the casing has to be deepened.
We are now in the hanging wall breccia of the North-South shear. This unit is 180 metres sooner than expected from last hole. The NS shear is a couple hundred metres thick and the footwall of this shear is the most prospective for gold.
