D-BOX closes deal with Black Box - EA integrates D-BOX Motion Code(TM) into the upcoming PC version of Need for Speed Undercover

LONGUEUIL, QC, Nov. 12, 2008 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) -- D-BOX Technologies Inc. (DBO.A) announced today that it has concluded a licensing agreement with Black Box, a studio of Electronic Arts Inc. (ERTS). This licensing agreement will allow Black Box to integrate the unique D-BOX Motion Code(TM) technology on the soon to be released PC version of Need for Speed(TM) Undercover game. D-BOX Motion Code(TM) technology is proprietary software that powers a range of Motion systems featuring high performance actuators designed to provide real-time response to on-screen action.

Need for Speed Undercover takes players back to the franchise's roots and re-introduces break-neck cop chases and spectacular highway battles. Need for Speed Undercover is being developed by Black Box in Vancouver, B.C. and is slated to ship in North America on November 18th and in Europe on November 21st 2008. It will be available for Xbox 360(TM) video game and entertainment system, PLAYSTATION(R)3 computer entertainment system, and Wii(TM) as well as the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, Nintendo DS(TM), PSP(R) (PlayStation(R) Portable) handheld entertainment system, PC and mobile.
