Message: Phoenix High-Grade Uranium Deposit Continues to Encounter Significant Results

I'm not sure it's worth getting worked up about on a moral level- first of all, the company is not at fault. They applied for and got all of the applicable permits. If there's any fault, it lies with BLM. Secondly, the final article brings up what to my mind is a very salient point -this is an old mine that they are re-opening, in an area that has been mined before. If uranium in the groundwater is not already an issue, then it won't become one by resuming the mine and removing the uranium.

On a financial level, it will be upsetting if the judge agrees with the petition to halt operations. Then again, who knows? If uranium keeps crawling down below $42.00, the mine may not be profitable anyway.
