Eagle Hill Announces Additions to Board of Directors and Exploration Advisory Teams

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - 10/20/09) - Eagle Hill Exploration Corporation ("Eagle Hill" or the "Company") (TSX-V:EAG - News) is pleased to announce a series of appointments that are being made in conjunction with a reorganization of the Company's management and exploration team. The appointment of two new directors and an advisory committee that will take an active role assisting management and the Board on the Company's drilling program. These are two important changes being made in preparation for anticipated growth as the Company undertakes a new exploration program on its gold and other precious metals Windfall Lake prospect in Quebec.

"The new Board members, Exploration Team and Advisory Committee will provide Eagle Hill's shareholders with additional experienced direction in both exploration and corporate operation," stated Brad Kitchen, President and CEO of the Company. New Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is expanding its experience eastward in the areas of junior resource exploration and venture capital with the addition of Andre Tessier and Dan Hachey. These two bring extensive start-up and operating experience that will be of tremendous value to Eagle Hill as the Company rapidly explores on the Windfall Lake Property. They join the current Board members and management, Brad Kitchen, President and CEO, Cale Thomas, CFO, Jason Scharfe, Director and Amandeep Rai, Corporate Secretary.

Andre C. Tessier, P. Geo., P. Eng., Director & Advisor

Andre Tessier holds an engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal and a Master's degree in geology from Queen's University in Kingston. He has twenty-five (25) years experience in the mineral industry and since 2003, has been President of Murgor Resources Inc. (MGR: TSX-V). Mr. Tessier was an independent geological consultant specialising in structural geology and mineral exploration. Mr. Tessier has been involved in numerous exploration programs for major, and junior mining companies including regional surface exploration programs as well as underground and open-pit mine exploration projects. He has experience with a wide variety of deposit types in Canada, South America and Central Asia.

Daniel H. Hachey, MBA, Director

Mr. Hachey has a strong investment banking background with approximately twenty- three years (23) of experience in the capital markets, largely in the area of public equity financing including initial public offerings (IPOs) and private placements. Previously, Mr. Hachey was President and Chief Executive Officer of a publicly traded mining company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange after leading Mining Investment Banking at a fully integrated Canadian investment dealer. Mr. Hachey graduated from McGill University with a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance. Prior to that he was in a Master of Science program at Universite de Montreal after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia University.

The appointment of these two new directors is subject to TSX Venture Exchange and regulatory body approval.

New Exploration Team

The New Exploration Team has a solid track record of creating value in high-growth junior gold and precious metal companies. The New Exploration Team will consist of Andre Tessier (previously mentioned), Dr. Jean-Philippe Desrochers, and Neil W. Richardson.

Dr. Jean-Philippe Desrochers, P. Geo., Advisor

Dr. Jean-Philippe Desrochers holds a PhD in geology from University of Montreal and has over seventeen (17) years experience in the mineral exploration industry in Canada, Central America and South America. He has been involved with intermediate and junior mining companies with exploration projects ranging from grassroots to mine-scale, on both surface and underground. Dr. Desrochers specializes in the field of structural geology applied to ore deposits in the search for Archean lode gold, volcanogenic massive sulfides, porphyry copper, skarn, and epithermal gold deposits. Dr. Desrochers has been the Vice-President Exploration of Murgor Resources Inc. (MGR: TSX-V) since 2005.

Neil W. Richardson, P. Geo., Advisor

Neil Richardson holds a Geological Engineering Technology diploma from Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario, and has over twenty (20) years experience in the mineral exploration sector. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Manitoba and the Manitoba - Saskatchewan Prospectors Association. Prior to joining Murgor Resources Inc., Mr. Richardson worked for numerous junior and major mining companies throughout Canada and overseas. Eagle Hill will benefit from Mr. Richardson's wealth of experience in the exploration for gold, volcanogenic massive sulphides, magmatic nickel and skarn deposits. Mr. Richardson has been the Manager of Exploration of Murgor Resources Inc. (MGR: TSX-V) since 2006.

New Advisory Committee

As Eagle Hill Exploration expands, it will draw upon the extensive experience from its new advisory committee consisting of Mac Watson, Michael McPhie, Wes Roberts, Ian Chisholm, Terry Schorn and Peter Vamos. This team complements financial advisory service provided by IBK Capital Corp.

Mackenzie I. Watson, P.Eng., Advisor

Mac Watson has fifty (50) years of exploration experience in the mineral industry and has been involved in the discovery of numerous coal, base metal and gold deposits in Canada. He was awarded Canada's Prospector of the Year Award in 1991 for his participation in the discovery of a number of deposits in Canada including the Harker Holloway gold mine (Ontario), the Icon-Sullivan copper mine (Quebec), the Long Lake zinc mine (Ontario), the Ellison gold deposit (Quebec), and the Hebecourt copper deposit (Quebec). He was also awarded the Quebec Prospector of the Year Award for his participation in the discovery of the Pusticamica and Verneuil gold deposits in Quebec. He has been involved with Freewest Resources since 1984.

Michael R.J. McPhie, B.Sc. (Honors), M.Sc., Advisor

Managing Director, Natural Resource and Infrastructure Projects with HB Global Advisors Corporation ("HB Global"), the consulting arm of Heenan Blaikie LLP, Michael has over 18 years of experience at senior levels within the Canadian natural resource and infrastructure development sector. Prior to joining HB Global, Michael served for four years as President and CEO of the Mining Association of British Columbia representing senior Canadian and international mining and smelting companies with interests in Western Canada. Wes Roberts is Vice-President Mining of HB Global Advisors Corp. and a Professional Engineer specializing in the economic evaluation and development of mineral deposits. He brings to Eagle Hill Exploration more than 25 years of experience in mineral exploration, mining operations, project engineering and management, as well as diverse mining engineering experience that includes precious and base metals and industrial minerals. Mr. Roberts has been a licensed Professional Engineer of Ontario since 1984.

Ian Chisholm, P.Geo., Technical Advisor

Mr. Chisholm has over 35 years of experience in mineral exploration within the natural resource sector. Ian is Vice-President of a Canadian exploration company specializing in the search for platinum and precious metals and consults to numerous international mining groups.

Terry Schorn, P.Geo., Technical Advisor

Mr. Schorn is a graduate of the world renowned Haileybury School of Mines and brings over 50 years' experience in mineral exploration, development and production to the Company. Mr. Schorn currently serves as Director of numerous junior resource companies and currently sits on the Board of War Eagle Mining Company Inc. (WAR: TSX-V), and Yankee Hat Minerals (KHT: TSX-V).

Mr. Vamos brings over 46 years of extensive, diversified Canadian and international experience in management positions within the areas of operations, project management, expansion research and business development.
