The Learning Together Conference (the "Conference") is one of Canada's most innovative and unique collaborative models for Aboriginal engagement in the mining industry. Conference coordinators have developed specifically formulated studies that will assist businesses and communities learn how to mutually benefit from the mining industry.
Eagle Hill's decision to partner with Learning Together Inc. stems from a desire to participate in open and constructive dialogue with local and national Aboriginal people and to realize their goal of considering Aboriginal concerns when undertaking and planning work on projects such as its Windfall Lake Property near Val d'Or, Quebec. Moreover, with the Conference, they have suggested to the world that cooperative solutions, led by thoughtful and innovative leaders, are required to generate significant results. By bringing several such leaders together in Vancouver they have made it possible to continue implementing effective solutions.
