Tunisia and now Egypt rioting and food prices seemingly the flashpoint. Could the whole Arab world go up in some kind of implosion reminiscent of the breakup of the Soviet Union and the tearing down of the Berlin Wall? If the Arab world goes into turmoil what will that do to oil supplies? And if new groups that are less pro-American take power what will that do to oil supplies? Mrs. Clinton looked pretty grim when I saw her on TV last night and I think she is right to be grim as the seriousness of a large disruption of world oil supplies cannot be overstated in terms of world food production, etc., etc. It would appear that American monetary policy has had a rather huge unintended consequence. I am thinking that this has the potential to send the POG to new highs and beyond in the immediate future. JMHO.
