Electrovaya Announces Participation in Four Upcoming Investment Conferences During May 2010

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - 04/29/10) - Electrovaya Inc. (TSX:EFL - News), developer and manufacturer of proprietary Lithium Ion SuperPolymer® battery systems, today announced its participation in four upcoming investment conferences during the month of May.

Electrovaya will present at the following conferences:

 
--  Ninth Annual JMP Securities Research Conference in San Francisco,
California. The presentation has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 11th at
3:30 PM.

--  Deutsche Bank 2010 Alternative Energy, Utilities & Power Conference in
Washington D.C. The presentation has been scheduled for Wednesday, May
12th at 3:35 PM.

--  Societe Generale, Beyond Europe Conference in London, UK. The
presentation has been scheduled for 9:00AM Wednesday, May 12th.

--  Barclays Capital Global Warming Solutions and Clean Technology
Conference in New York, New York. The Electric Vehicles Panel Discussion
has been scheduled for Thursday, May 20th at 2:00 PM.
