It's not surprising given the hostile environment that this industry is going through currently. After this round of consolidation, hope that EFL will thrive on multiple product line. Their smart grid storage has more potentials now and they also have a head start on it in AZ, ON and MB. It is a higher barrier than EV battery because it does involve sophisticated engineering. We will see how EFL plays out but with CAD$25MM market cap, it is an interesting situation given that it has hard asset in a building in Mississauga, ON.
