Maybe no link as Vitronic (Germany) also involved in battery inspection field.
Could the Major German automobile manufacturer using Vitronic to inspect Li-Ion with aluminum housing be Mercedes at Li-Tec Kamenz site ;-) ?

A major German automobile manufacturer has equipped a new production line with inspection technology made by VITRONIC. The technology is used to inspect lithium-ion car battery modules with aluminum housings. The inspection of battery modules is of particular importance to the safe operation of hybrid vehicles and electrically powered vehicles. Both of these will be a growth market in the future.
