He is son of Canadian ambassador in Berlin named in 2013, could be good for subsidies ;-)

On August 23, 2013 Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird announced the appointment of Marie Gervais-Vidricaire to become Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.[2]
