With funding from the US Air Force we developed a 2.5 kW off-grid version of the SUNERGY inverter. The off grid inverter which was developed in partnership with Electrovaya Inc, a leading developer of lithium ion battery technology, was designed to integrate solar and battery power with conventional diesel generation to provide lower cost, more reliable and more sustainable power under extreme conditions. Unlike other off grid inverter products in the market, which must be protected from wind, sand and rain, it is impervious to the elements.
