Thanks for the link Okiedo. It was an interesting read.

Not sure this presents an immediate threat to the broader lithium-ion battery industry, as it sounds like it is still in the very early stages of production. That said, it does speak directly to the need for EFL to put its train in gear and turn the much vaunted "pipeline" into saleable battery packs or systems.

So far all we have seen or heard from the 'transformational' acquisition are electrode and separator sales or supply arrangements (most likely) negotiated prior to the EFL takeover. Meanwhile, EFL's own chemistry has only produced several hundred thousand in revenues during Q1 and Q2 of 2015, and the only truly 'commercial' sales announcement (or purchase order) over the last year has been the $700K Raglan mine system.
