For what it's worth, the NR about the P20 separator said:

"The newly launched P20 now enables the same SEPARION® technology to be used in a thinner format, which has been demanded by many of our automotive customers"

I've kept on wondering what "many of our automotive customers" actually implies. By definition, scooters are part of the automotive industry... Any link with Hero? I don't know.
