This company thoroughly tested the batteries, spoke with the company’s subcontractors and toured the company’s operations. Following that, it signed a MSA for $105M over 3 years with the company. The company announced a starter purchase agreement from this customer on July 27, 2016.
On June 15, 2016, the company signed an MoU with a residential storage OEM to supply 48V modules, estimates revenues over 3 years of C$280M: Apparently, this customer was in advanced talks with a large lithium-ion battery manufacturer but decided to sign this MOU with the company. The company estimates that a $280M order implies batteries for 65,000 homes over 3 years.
