Somewhat confusing for sure. A state of the art battery facility they already just had. Next door to EFL? And it will be using toxic NMP, ... most likely? Uhh?
I'd like to know what other fine print was in the agreement between Daimler and EFL. They pretty much gave the plant away for free but there had to be some additional access to IP in the future in return. And I'm betting they never lost use of their separator rights and IP.
Hope EFL didn't give them access to the non-NMP patent.
I don't quite get the picture of building a new plant, next to EFL. Someone please connect the dots for me. Are we to think this is good?
