My expectation for the Raymond announcement is that Raymond will start assembling the batteries in house from modules supplied to them by Electrovaya.
I have suggested to Electrovaya that they need a second supply chain, preferably in North America. With the bulk of their customers in the US, then it would be in the US.
As their production volume grows instead of expanding cell and module production in Taiwan it should be started in the US. I think I figured out where the cell production will take pace, but module assembly could be at Raymond or where cell production occurs. My vote is where cell production occurs. In any case I own stock in both. I got my chair and popcorn in hand.
Oh, I forgot. The reason for moving battery assembly to Raymond is to make room for production of a new product that will take up the whole building? My guess is buss batteries.
